Best pizza in Sussex County . Pizza crust is the best around ! Never disappoints, always great !
Just stumbled upon this restaurant on my way back to Pennsylvania. Thought it was going to be a regular pizzeria, turned out to be a nice restaurant. I enjoyed the pizza, better than any I've had in the Poconos. Nice waiters , nice place , nice variety on the menu . If I'm in the area I would stop by again .
Good local pizza. We were able to sit at the one table they had. The owner is very accommodating and will make the pizza anyway you like including thick, thin, well-done, etc..
Came up to buy something from Marketplace and not familiar with the area, But past reviews urged my intuition and the review from 13 days ago really sold me. First, the place is spotless Clean! Impressive, it smells like my Dad's pizzeria, the faint smell of Dough rising and clean counters From the moment that I bit into the crust of their Plain Slice, I Could Tell. My Dad had his own pizza place many moons ago and I'm sort of "picky" with how the crust and the sauce Melds into one another. The crust is almost Buttery and airy where you're in heaven for a Brief second as you bite in and Close your eyes to Savor the moment. We ordered a regular cheesesteak hoagie fried onions, lettuce, tomato and pepperoncini on the Side! Also, an order of pizza fries, light in the sauce! This meal totally Hit the Spot! My Mom took the road trip with me and Trust me.... She is Picky but also gives her Honest opinion. She is My Treasure and I value her input. Especially when it comes to Food. Lol. When we arrived at the counter, practically everyone greeted us and was Super nice. The food is delicious and we Left happy and with Full Bellies! Definitely MUST come back and try more items on their menu! Ciao for Now!
This place is consistently good. The staff is great. This is a go to pizza place if you are in the Newton area.
When I am In the mood for pizza locally, this is my go to spot. The pizza is never overcooked or undercooked. The sauce to cheese to dough ratios are perfect and the recipe works. The quality of ingredients are high, and you can tell that ownership has been making pizza for a long time. Not only has he mastered his craft, but all his employees have been trained properly as well. But pizza is not the only thing he does well here. His chicken parmigiana sandwich is spot on, his salads are generous and always fresh! The place is always clean, the staff are super friendly and polite, and prices are more than fair! Been coming to Newton pizza for a long time and I love their food!
We're just in town for a few days and googled restaurants and Newton Pizza popped up and I am SO GLAD that it did. We're from the DC area and I've never had such wonderful service. Miss Denise was so good with my 2 year old. We felt so cared for and a part of a family! Like, where else do you feel like that for a 15 minute meal?? On top of that, the pizza is EXCELLENT. The bottom is nice and crisp (no soggy bottoms here!) and the toppings are fresh, bright and so so good. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not stop by Newton Pizza. What are you waiting for? Go!
I have been eating at this place since I was little. I haven't been to the new spot yet but I am sure it's just as great as the last. Their menu is your typical pizzeria and super simple. Easy to just pop in with friends or even children to grab a quick slice of pizza to eat. Hands down this place has the absolute best subs, best baked ziti and best pizza in the area by far. Friendly people work there who always remember you when you walk in which creates a nice environment. Their tomato sauce is to so sweet which makes anything with sauce on it great. The prices are extremely decent for the amount of food you get and every time I have gone their my order was exactly as ordered. Only downside is there is no delivery but it's worth the drive for sure. Will continue eating here for many more years to come!
